… to buildings and communities across the United States and around the world.
In the U.S., it is an industry valued at over $170 billion annually made up of over 85,000 electrical contracting firms employing over 900,000 electrical workers. An electrical contractor is a business person or firm that performs specialized construction work related to the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical and communication systems. – See more at our National NECA website.
The Northern New York Chapter of NECA (NNY NECA) represents and fights for union electrical contractors in Lewis, Jefferson, St. Lawrence, Franklin, Clinton, and Essex Counties, New York. Our experienced members find that the most valuable resource to joining the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA) is having your company sitting at the table when decisions are being made. Those decisions often concern labor relations and national policy decisions. We want leadership companies in the electrical contracting business.
